I'm not saying that it's not an "alliance-wide effort"; I'm saying that the big jump in faction that allowed us to own a town is due to [DR]'s contest.

well w/e town we own... we can get 75 lockpicks for 90k and then sell them for 100k to people,
a little 10k / 75 "powertrade" if you would call it that.

Been there. It's not worth it. The amount of faction we'd need to maintain ownership would turn us into a faction farming alliance in a matter of hours.

I've been in guilds that owned HZH and Cavalon when I was working on maxing those titles. Since then I have NO interest in faction farming. Owning a town is nice, but not enough to dedicate the kind of time it takes to own those outposts.
