Endless Spiders FoW Party

Ok, guess what yall...This September 6th will be not only my birthday but I will also be forming a team to go sit at Endless Spiders in FoW for a while, below is the team set up that we'll use and the details on what the run is.

Team:
1 RoJ
2 Healers
1 SS
2 Spirit Spammers
1 EoE
1 Ele Nuker (SH)

We will probly be running about two parties with myself paying for them both to go to FoW, once in FoW you just have to clear the path to the cave in the beach, then go and do all of the quests up until the one called Restore the Temple of War click here for the description of the quest. ONCE YOU HAVE THIS QUEST MAKE SURE ALL PARTY MEMBERS KNOW NOT TO TURN IT IN!!!!!!! IF THEY DO THE SPIDERS WILL NOT SPAWN!!!! After you take the quest make your way back to the path you cleared and go inside the cave about a few steps so as to agro the Armored Cave Spiders here is a link to what to expect from the cave spiders. Once you have cleared the cave from the mouth inwards procede slowly back to the mouth of the cave making sure to agro all of the spawning spiders, I will draw a little map to explain this soon and post it up. Once you have the spiders pulled to the mouth just kill asap so that their Melandru's Reilience doesn't stay active for too long and make the Ele of no use, the SS necro should NOT cast on the spiders right away as they will trigger Melandru's the second they are targeted by SS or another hex, so at this point the SS can run up and down the cave killing the Seeds of Corruption if they happen to re spawn (sometimes they do) or they can pull some of the Ancient Scales from the beach and SS them for the party if you are feeling up to handling the extra monsters. Hmm, I never tried this before so I'm wondering, what's the purpose?

The purpose is that you can sit at the endless spiders and get lots of Oby Shards

and do the respawned spiders still drop loot? i had the same idea for garden of seborin. but thats a bit less expensive drops.

I will be playing on either my mez or my warrior and filling the SoS roll for one of the teams, we will be meeting in DR GH on the 6th at around 4PM Est, Mia will pass out scrolls to the team leaders and we will ship out to ToA and such and begin the runs!!!! Did you folks try this? How did it go?

we did it, but Anet fixed the clause in the quest that let the spiders spawn forever. So it no longer works. But we did get a lot of Oby Shards!
