Alliance-wide Faction Challenge Coming Soon!

A one week long all-alliance faction challenge will be hosted by Tara Bastet, the DR guild leader.

The start day and time cannot be announced prior to the beginning to help prevent anyone from hording faction. The start time will be announced repeatedly on AC the day the challenge begins.

Everyone interested is welcome to participate but there is no requirement to do so.

There will be prizes for the top 5 faction donators during the week. Grand prize is an r9 VS. Other prizes have not been finalized; however will likely be a combination of ecto, tomes and weapons.

To participate, each donation must be witnessed and logged by Tara, the DR guild leader. When anyone is ready to donate faction, please PM her and ensure she's available prior to donating. While this may seem strict or unfair, it's the only way to guarantee accuracy. There have been many similar faction challenges held previously and despite good intentions, people have been caught cheating. Tara makes every effort to be online and available many hours daily.

Even though we're not a faction farming alliance, it's fun to have these challenges.

Now this would be rather good, gives everyone a reason to boost up their kurzick rank aswell.
hopefully the alliance will hit atleast 11mil in the week the challenge is up

Yes, challenges are a nice incentive for all of us to work on a rather tedious title.

this challenge would have been nice starting Friday just passed, could have got Double gold for Kurzick VQs.

How long will this event last? as in. all of the day it starts or what?

I'm not going to participate in this challenge but I'll join for some hardcore faction farming anyway.

Ah yes - exactly why I don't announce the start date or time in advance. Hopefully, it will prevent anyone from sitting on faction that long, Sonic. And, as it says in the 1st line of the topic originally posted, the challenge will last one full week, Prince.

Hope to have a lot of fun and participation with this. It's been many months since I hosted an alliance challenge.

I would love to but if someone is jq'ing all day anyway then they have such an advantage. just like people who are very good at vq's. I'll try to be in this, but I know there are prob some 'old faction farmers' in the alliance lol.

even the odd 5k every now and then will still help towards the alliance rep ^-^
