Vent Help

i just installed it and have no idea as to what i am doing, help?

tx02.voicemonsters.com|Port: 3852|Pass: niisan

Step 1: Username
- click the button, create your name [ema] Rileys (for example)

Step 2: Server
- click the button, click "new" to create a new server
- Hostname or IP = tx02.voicemonsters.com
- Port = 3852
- Password =niisan

Step 3: Connect
- click connect
- set up you "Push To Talk" button
--click Setup
--click the Hotkey field and after push a button on your keyboard you want to use

Step 4: Talk
- push your Push To Talk button & talk
- have fun!



Troubleshooting:
- if something doesn't work, aka if you can't talk on vent after you did all the above, you might have a problem with your microphone or microphone settings

thank you very much Markus for this step-by-step instruction. Now i can use Vent too in full and enjoy to listen in game while doing missi etc. I missed the hot-key for speaking first, but now it is all going very fine. So enjoy the game and i wish you all nice drops and hoping myself for the first mini-pet (SBB) or a nice green weapon from this hordes of white mantles

I do everything here and it keeps saying "Contacting server" and doesn't go further

Pretty odd, there's no reason why it shouldn't work. Do a double check of your info.

I've tried and checked over and over-switched my antivirus and firewall off and nothing is helping..sigh

it wont be an anti virus issue, it can only be a firewall or router issue

try other vent servers and see if you can connect to them

Alright, so the top channel, well it really isn't a channel. It has not been allowing people to talk.

The top channel (Little Monster) area is in fact a channel and does allow talking in it.

Yeah, but there has been issues lately where no one can be heard.

After reading it I tested it out on both my computers with another guild mate, the server just needed rebooted. If someone is having problems, I can always help them out.
